Nursing home administrator roles in the US health care system have become increasingly important to hospitals, nursing homes, and nursing homes in recent years.
The number of nursing home administrators in the healthcare system has increased to more than 60,000 in 2016, up from 40,000 administrators in 2015, according to data compiled by the Institute for Healthcare Information (IHI).
The IHI report indicates that the number of nurses employed in nursing homes is projected to increase from approximately 25,000 nurses in 2018 to more like 50,000 by 2025.
However, the IHi study also states that there are currently only a few nursing homes that have administrators who work in both the hospital and nursing home settings.
As of 2019, there were 647 nursing homes and more than 8,000 nursing home residents in the United States, according the IHS.
